The November 2024 full Moon is the last supermoon of the calendar year and also a very beautiful Moon! It falls during the Leonids peak that falls on November 17. Only the Moon does not play along and we can hardly observe the Leonids due to too much Moonlight.

In Europe the Supermoon falls in the late evening hours. The Moon then shines very brightly in the night sky. Hindrance can be experienced while observing Astronomical events such as: Observing Saturn or nebulas, star clusters, stars and much more.

Besides that, you can spot Mercury in the morning sky on the 16th. It rises above the horizon a few minutes to 1 hour before sunrise. It can be seen as a faint dot on the low horizon.
