May 2025 is just around the corner and this means a new Astronomical overview for the calendar. Every month there are numerous Astronomical events taking place. Below are the top 5 events for the coming month.
May 2025 is brimming with celestial events for astronomy enthusiasts! Here's a detailed list:

1. Venus Meets Neptune (May 2)**: Venus and Neptune will appear close together in the constellation Pisces. Venus will be bright and visible to the naked eye, while Neptune will require binoculars.

2. Moon and Mars Conjunction (May 3-4)**: The Moon will pass near Mars in the Cancer constellation, creating a striking pairing visible through binoculars or telescopes.

3. Eta Aquariid Meteor Shower Peak (May 5-6)**: This meteor shower, originating from Halley's Comet, will peak with up to 50 meteors per hour in southern latitudes. The Moon will set after midnight, providing dark skies for viewing.

4. Full Flower Micromoon (May 12)**: The Full Moon will appear smaller and dimmer as it reaches its farthest point from Earth.

5. Celestial Trio (May 22-23)**: The crescent Moon will align with Saturn and Neptune on May 22, and then with Venus on May 23. These alignments will be visible to the naked eye or with binoculars.
